Okay, so please excuse the massive amount of blogs that will be posted in the next two or three days. Life has been super busy, so needless to say blogging has been on the back burner.
Lets travel back.... Two months ago!!
April 24th I turned 22, and my husband was soo very kind, thoughtful, and sweet that day. He woke up at like 6am before I headed off to student teaching to cook me breakfast (which is my favorite meal :) ) and make me my lunch for the day. He even slid this in there to give me a mid-day boost!
When I got home from student teaching, I took a relaxing bath before Landon got home for the day. For dinner he cooked me one of my favorites, HOMEMADE shrimp alfredo! So good. I got to open my presents, which I loved!
He got me some very bright daisies (which are my fav!), a new pair of nike tennis shoes that I needed so very badly, and MADE me some stationary!
Yes, he made me those. This past semester he took a class called letter press, which is pretty complicated and time consuming, so needless to say this was my favorite :)
I also had other birthday festivities. The weekend before my birthday we went to Bartlett to watch my little bro play soccer and then we had a birthday dinner for my stepmom and me. Her birthday is 3 days later than mine.
My mom sent me a sweet card, with a target giftcard in it. Much to my surprise, I haven't used it all yet. Go me!
Then we had a birthday dinner for me at my in-laws. My MIL got me a new straightener and pjs, Megan got me a sack FULL of teaching supplies, and Anna got me a super cute shirt and fingernail polish.
While my birthday was exciting, about two weeks later a birthday even MORE exciting happened..... the birth of my niece!!
My last day student teaching, May 4th, I got a text about noon saying my sis in law was in labor. Needless to say, as much as I loved student teaching, I was anxious to get out of there so we could head to Memphis to be there when she arrived.
This was a fun time for us because when my nephew was born, he was born 2,000 miles away so we weren't able to be there when he was born.
I got to the hospital with my MIL about 7pm and we were honestly prepared to stay there all night. About 8 we were getting a little sleepy so we decided a coffee run was in order. As soon as we pull into starbucks, we get a text saying she is pushing. About 10 mintues later, Charlotte Mae Brewer had arrived. We did make it back in time :)
