The last two weeks in May Landon took an intense two week painting class at Ole Miss. He went every day from 8am to 5pm. While it made for long days, he got 3 credit hours out of the way in 2 weeks!! This is great news for him because it means he only has to drive down to Oxford one day a week next semester to finish his schooling off!
So what did I do with all that time I had to myself? If you know anything about it, I DO NOT do well by myself. I need like an hour to myself every like 2 weeks. The rest of the time? I need to socialize and be around people. So i kept myself busy.
The first week I spent 3 days in Senatobia with my sis-in-law megan. As mentioned in an earlier post, she had a baby at the beginning of May. She also has an 18 month old, which makes for one busy momma. Im thankful I got to go to Tobi and hang out with my nephew and love on my niece.
We spent time at the park, watched TV, caught up on life, played in the water, and went to a doctors appointment.
The second week I spent a lot of time with my friends Haley and Kenna. I'm super mad I didn't get pictures, but we really just laid out by the pool, window shopped, and hung out at the house.
Landon is probably going to hate me for this, but below I included some pictures of Landon's paintings. He doesn't like most of them, but I think he is a rather talented artist :) I'm super proud of him.
On the last day, the class opened up an exhibit for the community to come look at their work and possibly even buy some items.
Literally RIGHT after Landon's painting class ended, we started preparing to move from Oxford to Tunica.... We don't do this (i.e., clutter, junk everywhere) very well!
