St. Louis Vacation. Day 4 and 5.

After our busy day the day before, we decided not to slow down any. We headed to SIX FLAGS!! I love amusement parks- rollercoasters, water rides, people watching. It's all so fun! I didn't take many pictures, but here are the one I did...
We had so much fun riding all the coasters. We hit the biggest and one of my personal fav's first, the Batman! We rode some of the wooden coasters, which are fun but entirely too jerky. Mid-afternoon we headed to the water park aspect, which I think was our favorite! We rode on the most intense rides there. It's called the Bonzai Pipeline.

This is not us. I got these pictures off the Six Flags website. Pretty much the way this thing works is you get in that yellow tube, they close the door, countdown, and then the floor beneath you drops out from under you! You go through the pipe at like 40 mph, all while holding your breath and closing your eyes. So intense, but I thought it was kinda fun!

The last day we took our time getting up and getting ready. We went to Dunkin doughnuts for  breakfast. Then we killed sometime around town. Remember that mall I was telling you about? We went back there and spent time in these two stores.

I could seriously spend a lot of money in The Container Store. It's like a Type A personality's dream- nothing but organization!
Landon on the other hand could spend a lot of time and money in REI. Its full of camping and outdoor gear!!
We took our time getting home, but we did stop at the famous Lamberts Cafe. Nothing but good ole' home cooking.

Also, on the way home we stopped at Diebold Orchard and got some fresh peaches! Brought back childhood memories.

Needless to say, we had a GREAT time on vacation an wouldn't have traded it for the world. Thanks Landon for letting us go and spoiling me!!

St. Louis Vacation. Day 3.

After we had our breakfast buffet (which I really enjoyed, but Landon didn't care too much for), we headed out for the city.
Many of you know this, but my husband is a HUGE Cardinals fan, so we took a tour of Busch stadium.

I know pictures of Busch Stadium aren't that exciting, but it such a beautiful Stadium. Its only like 5 years only, but they went for the whole vintage baseball look when they built it.
Pictures of me and the hubs throughout the Stadium.
Memorabilia from the Cardinals win in the 2011 World Series.
In the radio room where all the games are broadcast.

Pictures from ON the field and in the dugout!

So after the tour, we grabbed some lunch at Saint Louis Bread Co. (aka Panera Bread). Then we just walked down town. We visited the Arch and walked around the beautiful park is below the Arch.

Afterwards we went to check into our hotel for the next two nights. Then we grabbed some ZzZ's because we had a fun filled night ahead of us.
Cardinals vs. White Sox game

Like I said earlier, Landon and I have been to a few Cardinal's games, but they have always been during the day. It was so fun to go to a night game! While they lost, we still had a great time!
Family Note: Busch Stadium is great for families because you can bring in all your own food and drinks! You heard me! Bring it whatever you want. We went to walgreens and bought 3 drinks, a bag of chips, a bag of peanuts, and 2 candy bars all for 10$! We probably saved like 40 bucks!

Day 3 was a BUUSSYY day!

St. Louis Vacation. Day 2.

After we slept in and had breakfast in Cape Girardeau, we headed for St. Louis.

I couldn't help myself. Brewer, MO.

St. Louis welcomed us with a MASSIVE thunderstorm, but other than that we had GREAT weather the entire time we were there. Not too hot and no rain!

When we got to St. Louis, we found one of my favorite malls: St. Louis Galleria Malls. This mall (and surrounding area) literally has any store you would want to go in.
We ate here for lunch and man was it goooooddd! After we shopped a little we went back and got a dulche de leche cheescake slice. It was divine.

We shopped a little- got Landon a new cardinals hat (this boy loves hats) and got me a new pair of clark flip-flops. Those were our souvenirs from the trip!

After we did a little shopping, we went to check into our hotel for the night.  I bought a deal off Groupon for a NICE room, free dinner at a steakhouse, and a breakfast buffet- all included for not very much at all. I was thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

Our hotel and room.

View from our room.

Dinner at the steakhouse. (Those shrimp were the LARGEST I have ever seen!)
