Thursday night started Amber Grace's wedding festivities! We met in Southaven, went to Spaghetti Warehouse, had a scavenger hunt around Memphis/Southaven, then back to Jessica's for lingerie and presents!
First let me preface this bachelorette party by saying that it was supposed to be themed- Tacky Bridesmaid dresses. While Haley and I knew that the dresses our bridesmaid's in our wedding wore weren't tacky (at least I hope not!), we were kind of playing around with the fact that no matter how cute bridesmaid dresses are, they usually always get a bad rep!
All the bachelorette party!
After dinner Christen, Haley, Kenna, and I got in a group to do the scavenger hunt! We could do it in Memphis or Southaven. We did "Find the letter 'M' for marriage" in Memphis, but then we decided our guys probably wouldn't appreciate us walking around memphis by ourselves on a Friday night. Plus, we didn't want to fight or parking or kill our feet!
"'M' for marriage"
Listening to "shameful" music! (While Haley dances in the car :) )
Take pictures with mannequins. (P.S. that in my infamous "food baby" NOT a real baby :) )
Dress up in Maroon and White and fist pump!
Make our own bouquet!
We just took a picture because we thought this was a funny sight! We did get crazy looks!
So we were supposed to take pictures of the ducks at the Peabody hotel, but we remembered during the summer the Peabody rooftop is used for parties, so we couldn't go see the ducks. Instead we used decoy ducks! (Kenna's duck is nesting. Ha!)
We had to get a gag gift for their honeymoon and while this is TOTALLY impractical, we got it because it says "Powerful Sexual Attraction"
We had to find an older couple and ask them some marriage advice. That day they were acutally celebrating 32 years of marriage!! Advice: Its okay to fight. His Advice: She wins! Haha
"What's mine is yours"
Friday the girls headed down to Glen Allan, MS for the bridal luncheon, rehearsal, and wedding!
Bridal Luncheon Photos!
Rehearsal Dinner
No Landon didn't have a question. The gnats there were TERRIBLY ANNOYING!!!
The Happy Couple :)
The Decorations all weekend were beautiful!
We have a running tradition (much to andrew's dismay) or him lighting the candles during our weddings. I'm not sure if he actually lite them during the wedding, but just the fact that they were supposed to cracks me up!
So their rehearsal was SO very sweet! Such a testament to the grace and mercy of God! JDub and Amber both have made such an impact in so many lives, as I know they will continue too!
Wedding Day!
Getting Ready!
Us and the Blushing Bride!
Me and the Sexist man there!!
Thanks Zach!
Their wedding day was incredibly sweet! They didn't see each other before the wedding so it was so sweet to see JDub grin ear to ear as he watched Amber walk down the Aisle! So sweet! Their ceremony glorified Jesus in every aspect!
I am sad I didn't get any pics of the rehearsal but it was decorated so well! So much time and energy went into it and you could tell! The "photo booth" pics were so fun to take and I can't wait to see how they turned out!
Because Andrew Perry was in the wedding, Christen came as his date and we enjoyed so much getting to hang out with her and getting to know her! We felt like we had been friends forever!
So we have a tradition that we have (and will) take a picture of all 8 of us at each of our weddings in the same order then put them all in a frame! I am so excited to see how it turns out. We only have Andrew and Kenna's wedding left!

Aaawww This is such a sweet snippet of the weekend. It all still makes me smile. :) Thanks for sharing! All your pictures make sense now, fellow blogger. Ha
