Ole Miss game

A couple weekends ago, we got an awesome offer to go to the Ole Miss game with Matt and Anna King! Anna and I were best friends in middle and high school and she was one of the greatest influences in my walk with Jesus. Our husbands are both church planters and worship pastors, so it was great to get to hang out with them. 

Sammi (Anna's sister) rode down to Oxford with us. I love that girl! It was so fun catching up on life with her!

Landon and Matt led worship at an FCA rally before the game. After walking all over kingdom come we finally got in the game! While I enjoy football, i get bored really easy (surprise, surprise!) so I am thankful Anna was there. We determined that our conversations had much more eternal value than the football game :)

Thanks Matt and Anna for the game, but most importantly the fellowship!

Kenna's Showers

One of my best friends is getting married in T minus one month! With a wedding comes lots of showers. Since she is from 5 hours south, I only get to go to limited showers.

At the end of August, Longview Heights gave a shower for Kenna. It was a lot of fun and she got lots of cute stuff!

Last night, Landon and I threw Andrew and Kenna a couples shower. Although it did not turn out like I had hoped, it was a lot of fun hanging out with those who came! It really was a great group. We had fun eating BBQ, playing cornhole, and sitting around a bonfire roasting mallows for our smores!
