Random Happenings

So about a week and half ago was my Mother-in-Law's birthday. All of our lives have been super crazy so instead of doing a dinner at someone's house, we decided to go out to eat at Buon Cibo in Hernando, which is a VERY rare thing for the brewers! We were just so glad to see everyone!

One Year Anniversary

I can not believe that a year ago Landon and I said "I DO". What a great year it was! I can't wait for many many more to come.

So our actual anniversary fell on my second Monday teaching, which meant all we did on the actual day was cook dinner at the house and CHILL, which is oddly one of my favorite things to do! (<--- pretty sure that was a run-on sentence, sorry!) I mentioned in my previous blog how sweet my husband has been to take care of me the past two weeks. Our anniversary day was no different. He made my lunch and put the SWEETEST note in my lunch. Good thing I read it before school started cause i teared up it was so sweet.

We made one of our favorite meals, Pesto Stuffed chicken and sat at the table and asked each other a serious of questions about our first year of marriage. It was so fun!

For our anniversary Landon got me a night at the Westin in downtown Memphis, which is where we stayed our wedding night. We enjoyed that this weekend!

We tried to get the same room we stayed in our wedding night, but stupid elvis week screwed that up! Oh well, we still had a WONDERFUL night!

We ate at Kooky Canucks, went on the peabody rooftop, drank starbucks, listened to the Jazz band in our hotel lobby, and cracked up SO hard while watching karate on ESPN. Such a fun and relaxing night!

We ended our anniversary by watching our wedding video last night. I am so glad we had a videographer. So many small details I failed to miss on my wedding day were captured! A year later I am still amazed and grateful for the outflow of love shown to Landon and I. I could seriously thank so many people again and again for making our wedding the best day of our life!

Classroom Pics

So here I am, two weeks into school. So far so good. I truly have been blessed with such an amazing job. I love my co-workers. I think my administration is awesome and so far my kids have been pretty good. They even took their first test this week and they all did so well. I was really impressed! Although I have to get up at 4:30, I wouldn't trade my job for another. I could not have asked for a better situation my first year teaching!

My husband has been SOO very kind and sweet these past two weeks. Almost every night he has made my lunch so it would be one less thing I have to do in the morning. He has made dinner MULTIPLE nights and has gotten up with me at least twice a week just to help me in the morning. I am too blessed :)
